Development of a Blast-resistant Restoring Line R1198 by MAS

摘要: 通过有限回交、自交,并结合分子标记辅助选择,将广谱抗稻瘟病种质H4的一个主效抗病基因Pi46(t)转育到强恢复系广恢998中,从BC2F4代群体中选育到一个株叶型较好的单株,命名为R1198。分析结果表明,R1198比广恢998的抗谱明显拓宽,两者农艺性状大体接近,但仍存在一定的差异。

Abstract: In the study, a major R gene Pi46(t) in H4, a broad-spectrum blast-resistant indica accession, was introgressed into Guanghui 998, a good restoring line, through limited backcrossing and self-pollination combined with marker-assisted selection (MAS). A plant in the BC2F4 population showing good plant-type was selected and named R1198. The resistance spectrum of R1198 to tested blast isolates was largely broader than that of Guanghui 998, agronomic traits of R1198 were totally similar but some different to Guanghui 998.
